THE STORY OF TRACY PARADZAI (MAI NGANDU)  CHARAKUPA B/C IN SEKE)

The story below has inspired me greatly to never give up in life. The Story of Tracy Paradzai. A customer from Charakupa Business centre in Seke Rural.

• Customer runs a Hardware shop. This started as a family shop selling groceries but diverted to hardware which she says in much better to manage than groceries as you have to travel to and from everytime and again without rest.
• The shop was established way back by her in laws who are now deceased but was closed for most of the time and no one showed any interest in running it. The shop was let to tenants on and off.
• She was then running a piggery project, which is still running under her custody
• We visited Seke in 2023 on a marketing expedition together with the late Mrs Jemwa and we managed to attract a group of Five ladies,Chipo Machaye being one of them.
• Chipo machaye was running a groceris shop at the Business centre and they are friends with Tracy Paradzai aka Mai Ngandu
• Chipo Machaye introduced Tracy to us. We visited her and she took $500 in march 2023 for pig feed. Husband was very skeptical at first and even refused to guarantee the loan.because he was afraid after hearing that MFI’s take customers assets.She grouped together with her brother, who works at the ZPCS but was selling kapenta from Kariba and two other ladies running a grocery shops and and renting a council bearhall at the same business centre. There are still in business as we speak.

• She continued taking loans for business as well as school fees and when husband saw how helpful it was to the family,,he also bout into the vision and is one of her greatest supporters. He is a mechanic by profession and works from the same B/C
• Noticicing that there is an uptake of people constructing,shops,homes,chicken /pig runs she saw an opportunity and ventured into that business up to now,
• We have given her $1600,which is her seventh loan. She is a very good and reliable customer, whom we have never followed. Pays her instalemts sometimes before due dates and always on time.

• She has also referred a couple of customers and mostly helps in following up if they fail to honour their obligations.
• Businnes doing very well and less stressful than groceries.
• We salute her never say die spirit which refuses to give up and surrender her to the kitchen. We thank God for her support. Attached are her photos.
